Sarah and Andrew

Sarah and I were already friends when she asked me to do her wedding hair and I was very touched to be asked to be involved.

I know Sarah’s hair well having styled it for many special occasions which straight away gave us an advantage. The entire wedding style was laid back, quirky and impossibly pretty! From the dress to the cake to the flowers laced a bohemian feel which is so much a part of Sarah’s own everyday style and personality. It was impressive the way Sarah had the confidence to bring through her natural style and this was evident in all the subtle nuances of the day, including the hair.

Her hair trial was straight forward, she settled on a loose, waved side bun naturally pinned and planned fresh flowers for the day. As you can see from the images Sarah’s dress was beautiful, having her hair up really showed off the detail on her dress and the jaw dropping backless style which suited her perfectly.

There were 5 bridesmaids and Sarah wanted this relaxed feel to flow through each style but was happy for them to pick what they felt they suited. This worked beautifully as the bridesmaids wore a variation of dresses and natural hues.

On the day the pretty flowers were chosen to compliment each individual hair style. I really enjoyed helping to choose who would have which colour and size of flower in their hair. The whole process required a lot of creativity and a joint effort brought the best outcome.

I personally loved everything about this wedding, the barn venue and setting were truly stunning. I'm sure you'll agree with me when you browse through the photos below.
